My name is Amber McCowin and I'm a single mother, special education preschool teacher and Sunday school teacher. I'm a very positive person who always finds a reason to smile. I've been told by several of my friends to start this gofundme because I've had quite the year. My vehicle i saved a year to get spontaneously combusted on my way home from work destroying all mine and my children's electronics, phones, tablets, school supplies, carseats, etc. I was able to save myself and my children before the entire car was engulfed in flames. Just before that a water leak at school destroyed all my teaching supplies and personal items and before that, we were forced out of the camper I was renting to own. Because I'm such a positive person and Christian who doesn't like to focus on the negative it's hard for me to even recount these tragedies much less ask for help in compensating for them but I would do anything for my children and this is one way I'm hoping I'll be able to afford future housing, a replacement vehicle and being able to replace all the items I've lost due to flood and fire. I am my own source of income. I don't have family and don't receive child support. I live check to check on a teachers salary. I am a person who gives but now I have to be the person that asks. It's hard for me to do this but I hope this finds you, someone, anyone willing to help as little and as much as possible. Thank you.
