Amazing Grace Outreach – A Community Coming Together

What began as delivering a few bottles of cold water to people experiencing homelessness during extreme heat has quickly grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined.

Amazing Grace Outreach was born out of one simple belief: every person deserves dignity, compassion, and hope.

In just a few short days, our community has come together in incredible ways. People have donated water, meals, hygiene supplies, clothing, pet supplies, tents, and so much more. Volunteers have stepped forward to cook meals, wash laundry, sort donations, and simply spend time talking with our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness.

Now we're ready to take the next step.

Our goal is not simply to meet immediate needs. We want to help people move forward.

Many of the people we're helping don't have identification, Social Security cards, transportation, access to showers, clean clothing, or even a safe place to store their belongings. Without those basic necessities, getting a job, finding housing, or rebuilding their lives becomes incredibly difficult.

Your donation will help provide:

• Meals and emergency food

• Bottled water and hydration supplies

• Hygiene products and laundry assistance

• Socks, underwear, clothing, and shoes

• Sleeping bags, tents, sleeping pads, and blankets

• Pet food and supplies for companion animals

• Replacement IDs, birth certificates, and other vital documents

• Transportation and gas for outreach

• Storage bins, garbage bags, and organizational supplies

• Emergency assistance for unexpected needs

• Connections to housing, employment, recovery programs, medical care, and community resources

This is about giving people a hand up—not a handout.

We believe every person deserves the opportunity to rebuild their life with dignity, support, and encouragement.

Amazing Grace Outreach welcomes everyone. We don't ask about race, religion, political beliefs, or past mistakes. We simply see people as people. Every person has value, and every person deserves to know that someone cares.

As we continue to grow, our vision is to partner with local churches, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and the City of Jackson to create lasting solutions that help people move from surviving to thriving.
