Support LA Families Rise from the Ashes

The LA Fires of 2025 just turned personal. My sister-from-another-mister, godmother to my son, Amanda Winn Lee and her family just lost their home.

❤️ UPDATE: Initially I started this for just Amanda’s family, the shock of losing a home filled with so many amazing memories, moved me to action. As a Type A, I cannot sit by and watch my hometown of LA burn, and families and friends livelihoods with it.

In Amanda’s good-heartedness, she has requested that we allocate these funds to support those who need IMMEDIATE support.

Within 3 hours of starting this fund, 4 other friends have lost EVERYTHING. So at Amanda’s request, we’re going to support them. ❤️

This will go toward those who need the basic essentials, right now as they start to rebuild their lives - clothes, sanitary items, pet care.

Amidst the turmoil and shocking smoke of chaos that is currently consuming LA, we have the opportunity to be a light to those who have lost everything.

It starts with one person.

One aid. One bit.

And one by one, family by family, we can support each other in piecing back the fragments of life.

It’s easy to say “it’s just stuff.” But stuff and things have memories.

And right now, people need stuff, when everything they’ve built is stripped to dust.

Yes, there are thousands more just like Amanda who are facing devastating loss of their homes in LA. And the fires are not done yet.

But I ask you, in this moment, to open your hearts to support just ONE family.

That’s what this fund is for.

Helping one family, at a time, rebuild and rise from the ashes.

One-by-one, is how we as a community will gather together to rally for each other.
