I am Brian, Ross’s friend and neighbor in the Elwood section of East Northport, NY (Long Island). As many of you know Ross unexpectedly passed away on June 12, 2025. He leaves behind Amanda Goodman and their 5 year old son, Grant. Amanda and Grant are facing an incredibly difficult time as they navigate the emotional challenges of this very sudden loss. They are confronted with immediate expenses that have become overwhelming. Amanda is now solely responsible for supporting Grant through this transition, and the financial burden adds to the stress of an already heartbreaking situation.

Ross was a beloved man, devoted father, incredibly kind, funny and selfless person who touched all who entered his life. His pride and joy was his son Grant. He would want nothing more than to make sure his only son was taken care of in all ways possible.

Amanda and Grant are doing their best to cope through these days. Any support will make a meaningful difference as they work to find stability, begin to heal, and honor Ross’s memory.
