My name is Allison Patterson and I’m reaching out for support on behalf of my cousin Amanda and her wife Gabriella.

I approached them with the idea of community support recently, and they have entrusted me with the honor of sharing their heartfelt journey with you as they continue on their path to parenthood through reciprocal IVF.

Amanda and Gabriella‘s story is one of unwavering support love and resilience, but it is also marked by heartache. After enduring the devastating loss of their 18 week pregnancy in January, they refuse to let despair overshadow their dream of becoming a family. Reciprocal IVF, with Amanda‘s eggs and Gabriella‘s womb, represents the beautiful hope they hold onto in the face of adversity.

Yet, like many couples navigating the world of fertility treatments, they are confronted with a formidable obstacle: the financial strain. The cost of a round of IVF (totaling over $6,000) includes medical procedures, tests, donor, sperm ($4,000 alone), medication, and co-pays are daunting, and they cannot face this challenge alone.
