They live an hour away and Nick has to continue working while Alyssa cares for their two-year-old son. Any donations make it possible for them to spend more time at the hospital.

On October 11, 2024, Alyssa and Nick’s world changed in a way they never expected. At just 25 weeks, Alyssa had an emergency C-section, bringing their tiny twins, Aiden and Andrew, into the world far earlier than anticipated. Weighing only 1.7 and 1.8 pounds, these little fighters are now in incubators, clinging to life with the incredible care they’re receiving at Duke University Hospital.

Being nearly an hour from home, Alyssa, Nick, and their two-year-old son have found temporary refuge at the Ronald McDonald House, a lifeline offered by the hospital to help them stay close to their newborns. But the financial strain is overwhelming. This fundraiser is here to help them cover daily expenses, medical bills, and essentials that allow Alyssa and Nick to stay close to Aiden and Andrew, offering them the love and support they need for a healthy start.
