Support Alyssa and Mailon's IVF Journey

To our friends and family,

For those willing to open this and read our story, thank you. It is with both vulnerability and hope that we share a significant chapter of our lives with you. For the past 7 years Mailon and I have struggled with infertility challenges. During this time we are both undergoing many tests and have found out that we have to take the IVF (In Virto Fertilization) journey. So today we are asking for your help and support through this time.

For those of you who are familiar with fertility issues, you understand the heartbreak of everything as well as the huge financial challenge of it all as our insurance only covers the testing portion of our fertility treatment. We are looking at around $13,000 which includes 2-3 rounds of IVF with egg/sperm freezing for future use, also costs of medication. At times our pride made us feel as though we need to do this all on our own and it has stopped us from asking for help. My mom has always taught me it takes a village to raise a child and I know Mailon and I have the best village there is, that's why with humbling hearts we are reaching out to ask for your help or even a prayer.

About Mailon & Alyssa,

Mailon and I have known each other since we were 10 years old being kids. We drifted apart in life but found our way back again 8 years later and have been together since. We got married in June of 2019 and have created a beautiful life together. Mailon has had the same career since he was 18 years old working in the natural gas pipeline field and works for a company that treats him like family! I am a barista at Starbucks and absolutely love it! All we have ever wanted to be was parents and see our love grow into something even bigger! We have had great practice being an aunt and uncle, that's the one thing I love the most is getting to watch my husband with our nieces and nephews knowing he's going to be an amazing dad to our babies one day.
