Hello, We are not usually people who ask for or accept help, but this is the hardest thing we have ever experienced and had to navigate through and never thought we would be in this situation and we need the support of all our family and friends. We had our beautiful baby girl Alora on 12/18/25 and she was admitted into Children’s Christmas evening for a virus called Bronchiolitis, a virus caused by another virus, in this case she has a type of pneumonia on top of that causing harm to her lungs, at her little age, her lungs and body are so little and fragile it was having a very hard time trying to fight this virus , she was rushed by ambulance to downtown children’s and had to be admitted into ICU and on high flow oxygen, then got moved to cpap to help her troubled breathing, her poor lungs were still fighting so hard they had to put her on a ventilator for full support of her lungs and little body so it can effectively fight this horrible virus. Due to my fiancé being out of work for my post parturm recovery and then straight into all of this he is missing weeks of unpaid work, due to us having a toddler at home that needs one of us at all times and the baby needing me at the hospital at all times, we are not sure how long she will be on the ventilator, and the recovery process after, we are anticipating weeks, we are asking more than anything for prayers to heal our sweet baby girl, pray in Jesus name that this virus gets out of her body and her lungs are strong enough to start fighting for her! Pray our sweet baby girl gets to come home with her family and be snuggled as she needs after all her body is going through, lastly we are asking all of our family and friends, anyone who is able to donate even if it is a small amount to help with bills for the next month so we can fully focus on our sweet girl and all the care she needs, and travel expenses to and from the hospital everyday.
