Hi! My name is Alma, and I’m asking for your help with something especially meaningful to me. As part of Jumbo Spring Break, I will be traveling with other Tufts students to Hawaii to partner with Habitat for Humanity to build safe, affordable housing for families who need it most.

For many families, the holidays are a time of home and hope — but too many of our neighbors in Lahaina still lack a safe, stable place to call home, particularly after the 2023 wildfires. Our team will contribute directly to solving this by working side-by-side with the family and community members to construct homes that provide long-term stability and dignity.

We are covering costs such as airfare and lodging through personal and group donations, and this GoFundMe is a part of my personal fundraising efforts.
