Support Alma's Hospice and Funeral Costs

Two months ago on April 29th, our mom received a shocking diagnosis of Stage 3c Uterine Cancer. Though devastated, our family banded together to support her through this sickness. Eventually she was to receive 3 rounds of chemotherapy every 3 weeks starting May 7th. As she was getting bloodwork done to begin her third and last round this last week on June 16th, she was instead admitted to the emergency room where we received even more heartbreaking news; the chemo was not working, the cancer had entered Stage 4, and there is nothing that can be done to keep it from continuing to spread.

As of now, Alma is receiving palliative care. We will be transferring her home where she will be on hospice to be comfortable and surrounded by her loved ones as she enters the next life in peace. She will be leaving behind 4 kids, 3 children-in-law, 1 granddaughter, and 1 grandson due in September.

We are asking for donations to alleviate the cost of both hospice care and unexpected funeral expenses. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you instead say a prayer for Alma that she remains in comfort and peace.
