Hi, I am Brittany Given. One of my best friends is the mother of Alma. On June 29th at 9:15 pm Alma’s husband and father to their beautiful children Maevis (21 months) and Woods (10 months) was taken to Iredell Hospital. These two have known each other since they were little. (as shown in pictures) He was then transported him to Baptist. In the early hours of June 30 they place a pressure sensor in his brain to monitor the swelling. They decided to do surgery to relieve the swelling. During the surgery there was excessive bleeding and they had to stop before they lost him. The family has opted not to attempt surgery because the quality of life after is not what Justin would want. They have decided to continue with the meds to control the swelling and trust in God and Justins will to pull through.

On 07/01/2025 Justin passed away.

If anyone would like to donate to help Alma financially with the kids, as well as her mother that will be now taking them all in.
