My name is Allison, and for the past seven years, I have been the full-time caregiver for my mom, Sandra. She is battling kidney failure and crippling arthritis, which has left her unable to walk or move around on her own. Every day, I help her with basic needs and caring for our cats, and most of our time is spent together in her room because of her limited mobility.


Sandra’s health has made it impossible for me to work, as I also live with disabilities. This has made it extremely difficult to keep up with essential expenses like rent, car payments, cell phone bills, and even basic furniture. The financial strain is overwhelming, and I worry every day about how we’ll manage to stay in our home and keep up with the bills while making sure Sandra gets the care she needs.


Support from this fundraiser would mean everything to us. It would help us cover our most urgent bills, secure a safe place to live, and maintain reliable transportation.
