Phil Drossos passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on November 9, 2025. Phil was a father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, and his unexpected loss has been felt by all who knew him.

Phil was born and raised in Salt Lake City and eventually found his home and heart to be with Allana in Alaska. His passion for surveying and being outside carried through to his work when they moved to Ashland to raise their children, Scout and Sundew. Phil recently fulfilled his lifelong dream when he became the sole owner of a local survey firm, and his love of surveying was surpassed only by his love for Scout and Sundew.

Scout is a 10th grader and is a talented artist, swimmer, and animal-lover. Sundew is a 7th grader and she loves airplanes, kitties, and mountain biking. Their mom, Allana, is an elementary school teacher and she devotes her love and energy to her kids, students, and community.

The loss of Phil has left an unimaginable hole that cannot be filled for this family. However, during this time, we would like to provide them with the support to navigate the financial distress that has been created.
