Hello, I’m Mariah Cornelius, reaching out to ask for your help in making an important vision a reality for someone really important to me Aliciette Cornelius (my cousin), who is working hard to launch a Resource Hub online & building center in South Sacramento to support foster youth and at-risk young adults due to her personal experience and circumstances with CPS.

As someone who cares deeply about young people’s futures, Aliciette Cornelius has decided to take action. She’s creating a place where foster youth and young adults aging out of the system can find resources to help them transition to independent living. But she needs your help. I feel the community needs this to help our youth. She’s been trying to do it on her own, but I want to see if I can get her some more assistance because she will do it on her own, but I feel the community of South Sacramento and the Bay should pour into her and her calling to help the youth from all walks of life.

The Resource Hub Will Provide:

Job Resources: Resume workshops, interview coaching, and employment connections

Mental Health Support: Therapy and wellness programs to help youth heal from past trauma

A Food Pantry: To help meet the basic needs of those who are food insecure

Life Skills Training: Financial literacy, housing assistance, and more

A Safe Space: A welcoming environment where these young people can find guidance, community, and hope.

Why It’s So Important

The transition from foster care to adulthood is one of the hardest journeys young people face, and without a strong support system, it can feel impossible. Aliciette Cornelius wants to be that support, offering a place for youth to get back on their feet, find stability, and create a brighter future. Because she didn’t receive any of these tools!

However, starting this hub is no small task. Aliciette Cornelius is putting everything she has into making this happen, but it’s going to take financial resources to make it a reality.

By donating, you’ll be contributing directly to the start-up costs for the hub and other business fees and licensing.

Outreach to ensure young people who need it most find the hub
