Update Nov 29, 2025:
We are heading back to Malaysia next Saturday, and to Bali on Christmas week. This time we are bringing in 8 more laptops to add to our Computer Lab project. We will kickstart a library project and bring back the Online Learning English Class that we started back in 2023. Our friend Wayan has installed Wi-Fi in his house and we hope to get children and adults who are interested to learn basic English to meet up with us there. The children who are learning the traditional music instruments that we are sponsoring are excited to perform for us. Thank you everyone who has supported us in our Bali Kids Projects journey. Shane and I are grateful!
More updates will be posted on our Facebook:
Update Oct 18, 2025:
Greetings everyone! We are Alice and Shane. Thanks to the fund raised last year, we managed to bring 8 used refurbished laptops for the children of Tenganan Village in Bali. In fact we did a lot more to help with the school's immediate needs. You can read about it by clicking the link below:
This Saturday, October 18 Shane and I will be sharing our travel and community work experiences at the Spokane Shadle Park Library. If you are from Spokane, we love to meet you. Spokesman Review wrote an article about "Taste of Bali" event:
We appreciate your donations. Any amount will be helpful to top up our own savings set aside for Bali Kids Project. Monetary fund will be helpful to pay for the children traditional musical instruments teacher's monthly salary. Another way to help us is by donating used working laptops when you see us at the library or drop it off at The Scale House Market (address: 4422 E 8th Avenue, Spokane Valley). If you are travelling to Bali, please take a few easy to read English books to donate and visit Tenganan Village.
Thank you for your attention.
From 2024:
Hello everyone. Thank you for reading our story. We are Alice and Shane. Alice of SeraiMas will be cooking at Feast World Kitchen on Wednesday, October 30 to raise fund for our plan to install a computer lab in an oldest indigenous village in Bali, Indonesia called Tenganan. We hope to raise as much as possible and with the extra fund to also pay for 1 year's salary for a music teacher to teach the children their ancient traditional musical instruments.
We like to invite you to dine with us at Feast World Kitchen, Spokane, WA. However, we understand if you can't make it to the venue but still like to offer some help to fund our project. Any amount helps with our heartiest thanks and appreciation.
