Hello Everyone,

We are reaching out for financial help for my stepdad Alfredo. He has been fighting for his immigration status since 2016. We have had three different court dates that were pushed back to a later date. Most recently, we had a court case on December 16th, but because of the current administration, immigration judges are being fired, causing another delay in the case. Alfredo is the second income for our home. He is a father to two daughters who are about to go to college and is a hard worker who leaves at 5 am for work and returns at 8 pm. He has made sure to do every step of the process and pay his dues on time, but due to the delays, the amount of payments are being compounded.

Due to his case being pushed back many times, we are pursuing a motion to help speed the process, but it is $4000 dollars. This is why we are asking for financial assistance to help us pay the immigration fees that will help us continue pushing a case for alfredo to remain in the US.

Without Alfredo, our family would struggle financially, mentally, and emotionally. We are a unit that relies on one another, and he is a central part of that foundation. Even now, I love coming home to spend time with him and my family, enjoying meals together and feeling the comfort and safety he brings to our home. His absence would create a ripple effect that would impact not only my mom and sisters but also the many people who have known and depended on Alfredo for years.
