Support for Baby Meadow and Family.

On February 1st, Alexys' water broke early at 23 weeks and 6 days with twin girls. The girls due date was 5/25/25.

She arrived at the hospital around 6 pm and by 7 pm, they decided the girls needed to be delivered. The girls came early via emergency c-section at shady grove Adventist hospital.

At 8:30 pm, Magnolia May was born weighing 1lb 3oz; 2 minutes later, at 8:32 pm, her sister Meadow Lynn was born weighing 1lb 5oz. The girls combined weighed a little over 2 pounds.

Magnolia lived for 6 days in the NICU at Shady Grove Hospital but unfortunately passed away Friday, February 7th due to an infection.

Meadow is still in the NICU where she is receiving critical care and is doing well for how small she is and how premature she was born. Meadow will be in the NICU until around 5/25/25, which is the girls' due date, possibly even the beginning of June.

Over the next several months, Alexys and Michael will be traveling back and forth from the NICU in Rockville to be with Meadow. We want to thank all of our family and friends who have reached out to us during this time, it means a lot to us.
