Support Alex’s Stroke Recovery
On Sunday, August 25th, 2024 my father collapsed in his home and suffered a stroke for a second time in less than a year. This event alone kept him in the ICU on a ventilator for a few days fighting for his life along with a heap of bills that only keep accumulating. Although he was recently taken off the ventilator, at this time he is still unable to fully speak,walk, or independently tend to himself without assistance. I am organizing this fundraiser to help cover my dad’s bills and expenses while he is under medical supervision and alleviate some of the worries from the outside world during his recovery process. I thank you all and appreciate any help provided during this difficult time.

El domingo 25 de agosto de 2024, mi padre se desmayó en su casa y sufrió un infarto cerebral por segunda vez en menos de un año. Este evento por sí solo lo mantuvo en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI) con un respirador durante varios días luchando por su vida junto con un montón de facturas mensuales que solo siguen acumulándose. Aunque recientemente le quitaron el respirador, en estos momentos todavía no puede hablar, caminar o cuidar de sí mismo sin supervisión médica. Estoy organizando esta recaudación de fondos para ayudar a cubrir las facturas y los gastos de mi padre mientras está bajo supervisión médica y aliviar algunas de las preocupaciones del mundo exterior durante su proceso de recuperación.
