I’m Alex, a queer, non-binary immigrant living with HIV in Puerto Rico, long time immigrant advocate, community builder, and proud member of our vibrant Latinx and LGBTQIA+ communities. As my December birthday approaches, and after a year of hardship and unstable work, I’m asking my community to help me take the step toward naturalization this December. But I need your help to make it happen.

With $760 I’ll cover the steep fees for my naturalization application and make a long-overdue leap toward the stability and freedom I deserve. Let’s be real – with the uncertainty looming under the Trump agenda’s lingering influence, there’s no time to wait. This administration may try to make it even harder for immigrants to naturalize, so I need to act now.
