Support Alex's Eagle Project to help Grow it Forward

Hello,

My name is Alex Plachinski and I am working on my Eagle Project. I plan on building raised garden beds for the organization Grow It Forward.

Grow it Forward was started by a pastor after he noticed members of his congregation going hungry. They created a community garden to help feed their congregation. St Luke’s United Methodist Church started a pilot for their very own Grow It Forward micro-farm. This site is part of a network of micro-farms in Orange County whose mission is to help combat childhood hunger through community gardens. My Eagle Project will include the build and installation of two raised planting beds at the farm to improve access for the volunteers working there. I chose this project because the current area needs some help and I want to support this important cause.

The funding raised will purchase the supplies for these gardening beds. Any excess proceeds will be donated to the organization to help Grow It Forward continue to thrive. Thank you for your support to my project!
