Hi! My name is Alexis Zamboanga-D'Arelli, I am a 3rd year SRNA traveling to Narra, Palawan, Philippines in February 2026 for a medical mission with the Filipino-American Nurse Anesthesiology Society (FANAS) .
We’ll be providing anesthesia and surgical care to communities with extremely limited access to healthcare. This mission is especially meaningful because it’s near my maternal grandparents’ hometown.
As part of this mission, our team will provide:
-Surgical + anesthesia services
-Primary medical screenings
-Community health outreach
-Supplies for patients who would otherwise go without care
What I’ll Be Doing as an SRNA
I’ll be assisting in:
-Delivering safe anesthesia care in a resource-limited setting
-Supporting surgical procedures
-Monitoring patients before, during, and after surgery
-Educating local health workers and helping build sustainable care practices
Why I Need Support
Unfortunately, mission work comes with out-of-pocket costs that are not covered by my graduate program. Your donation would help cover airfare and mission registration fees.
Total cost: ~$4,000-$5,000
Anything donation—big or small—helps me bring essential care to families who need it most.
Thank you so much for your support.
Maraming salamat po ❤️
