Support Alexis’ family losing 2 homes

For those of you who don’t know, my name is Alexis. My family and I are natives to Sarasota and Siesta Key. As most of us didn’t expect, Hurricane Helene rocked our coast. I’m asking for your help today for my grandmother, mother, and father.

My grandmother's sweet little Siesta Key home of nearly 60 years had 4 ft of seawater and wake. Nothing has been spared. Most clothes, food, their home, and daily essentials are no longer sustainable. My mother has been taking care of my grandmother and has not been able to work full-time. As for many of us, there isn’t enough money laying around to simply start over or rebuild.

As for my father’s home on the water in Nokomis, it has had 4 ft of water inside. All furnishings must be replaced; He will need to renovate and rebuild as well. He has been roofing for Sarasota County over 30 years, taking care of his community on the daily.

Insurance companies and licensed workers are backed up; they are stuck at a standstill while life is still going on. I could use your help, if you have anything to spare!

Funds would go towards: housing/rental, daily necessities of living, rebuilding, and the cleanup part of this disaster. Thank you for your time and support through this devastation. God Bless you all! ❤️
