Support Alex Lopez in His Battle with Huntington’s Disease

Hello, my name is Will Lopez, and I’m the brother of Alex Lopez (Gene Lopez), who has been diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease(HD).

HD is a progressive, genetic disorder that causes the breakdown of nerve cells in the brain, leading to a decline in mental and physical abilities. Tragically, our mother passed away from this same disease, and now Alex is facing a similar fight.

Since his diagnosis, Alex's health has declined rapidly. He has lost weight, struggles with speech and movement, and has difficulty with daily tasks. His symptoms have become so severe that it’s no longer safe for him to work full time, and simple parenting task for his four children have become overwhelming.

As his family, we’ve been helping with bills, groceries, and daily care, but the financial burden is growing. We’re hoping to get him the support he needs through Social Security benefits, but in the meantime, we’re asking for your help. Every donation will go towards his care, medical expenses, and helping him spend more time with his children and loved ones.
