My name is Alexander Hassanein. I am a Life Scout in Boy Scout Troop 782, and I am currently working on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. In order to do this, I have to first complete my Eagle Project, which is a project that I must take leadership of that will benefit the community.

For my Eagle Project, I am building a rock garden for San Dieguito Park. It will be a 10-foot by 12-foot rock garden with a path through it. This rock garden will not only serve as my Eagle Project, but it will be a step towards completing the new meditation garden that San Dieguito is developing. This new rock garden will benefit the community by helping to provide a space of relaxation for the many people who come to the park. There are also numerous other benefits that this rock garden will bring to the community, such as reducing stress, providing a sense of calmness, and enhancing the natural environment of the park.

My project will also include a fence behind the rock garden, which will help give a sense of privacy for the people using the garden, enhancing the relaxing environment. The rock garden will contribute to the overall feel that this new meditation garden is going for and help foster a sense of community as people in the park will be drawn together by the use of this rock garden and the meditation garden as a whole.

In order for this to be possible, I need funding for materials to build the rock garden, including rocks, gravel, sand, and lumber.
