Support Alex at Bolton Hill Grocery

Greetings to anyone who is reading this - My name is Shawn, and I am fundraising for supporting Alex, the owner of Bolton Hill Grocery. He and his family have been struggling in regards to the store, but they have not been asking others for help since they feel guilty for burdening others. As his future son-in-law, I felt like it has been too hard on the family and it had to be shared with others.

Bolton Hill Grocery is a small store located in Sutton Place at Park and N Howard Street, and it has been a valuable place for the locals - especially with lack of options for groceries in the area. Alex has been one of the most faithful and kind owner to all the customers of this store for past 30 years.

On the week of  June 1st, Alex had the same individual breaking into his store three times throughout one week. The individual broke in through the window at around midnight every time, when the store would be closed and no one would be watching or securing the area. Every time there was a break-in, Alex had to quickly return to the store and watch the store all night to make sure no one else takes advantage of the broken window. Thankfully, the individual has been caught, and the series of stressful nights seemed to end.

However, Alex had to return to the store on the night of June 20th with another break-in. The individual used the same pattern of smashing the window and entering to rob the store.

Not only have these events been taking a serious toll on Alex's mental and physical health, but they are also really making him struggle financially as well, as he has to repair the window every time a break-in occurs in addition to the stolen goods.

As of now, Alex definitely needs prayers, encouragement, and support. In addition to these, any amount of financial help would be greatly appreciated. All the financial support will be used to help Alex repair his windows and possibly finding better solutions to prevent any future theft, so Alex can continue to keep his store open and serve his community.
