Hi, my name is Derek, and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my dad.

Recently, he suffered a small heart attack and was rushed to the hospital for testing. After being transferred to another hospital for further evaluation, doctors discovered several blockages in his heart. As a result, he will be undergoing open-heart bypass surgery.

My dad works for Clements in Bristol, Rhode Island, where he is known as one of the best bakers around. He’s a hard worker and well loved by many.

I’m setting this GoFundMe up because the road to recovery will be long, and medical and household bills will quickly add up—on top of insurance costs. Any donation, share, or support would mean more than words can express and would be greatly appreciated.
