Al Siebert was admitted into his local hospital on Friday, May 9, 2025, with what doctors originally thought was atypical pneumonia. It was quickly determined that Al is suffering from advanced lung disease due to a rare, but serious side effect from a heart medication he has been on for 2 years.
He is currently fighting for his life on life support in the intensive care unit.
Al has been mentoring and ministering to teenagers and young people with Southern California Youth for Christ for 55 years and has devoted his life to the service of Jesus Christ. He has mentored and touched thousands of lives in his ministry over the last half of a century. He and his wife Hannah have been married for 54 years and he has 2 daughters, 2 sons-in-law and 4 grandchildren.
We are currently seeking to raise funds for medical expenses and possible long term care.
You can visit his CaringBridge for regular updates on his health.
