Support A.L. Brown XC Team: Mr. Beaver's R2R2R Run

Hi everyone,

My name is Mr. Beaver, and I'm incredibly excited (and a little nervous!) to share a monumental challenge I'm undertaking to support a truly inspiring group of young athletes: the A.L. Brown High School Cross Country team right here in Kannapolis!

I'm training to run the Rim to Rim to Rim (R2R2R) in the Grand Canyon – a demanding 50-mile journey with significant elevation changes, all to be completed in a single effort. As someone who is passionate about pushing personal boundaries and discovering what the human body can withstand, this challenge resonates deeply with me.

And that same spirit of dedication, perseverance, and pushing potential is exactly what I see in the student-athletes of the A.L. Brown Wonders Cross Country team. They work incredibly hard, day in and day out, to achieve their best.

That's why I'm dedicating this run to them. I'm aiming to raise $5,000 to provide the team with essentials like equipment, nutrition, hydration, and race entry fees. This funding will help them train more effectively, compete with pride, and alleviate some of the financial burdens that can come with participating in school sports. They deserve to have the resources that match their incredible effort and spirit.

Every mile I run through the Grand Canyon will be fueled by the thought of supporting these amazing young runners. Join me in helping the A.L. Brown XC team reach their full potential!
