あきばん [AKI-BAN] is going to be a free to the public board/ttrpg/tcg game convention that takes place at The Mill on Lake Stevens, Oct 25-26th.

I want this con to be as inclusive as possible. There is even a dedicated "voice off" area for anybody who signs or just want a "quiet" (as possible) area.

While I fully plan on funding this out of my pocket if I have to, I'm told its okay to ask the community for help.

I have already made reservation and gotten the permit. The city has wonderfully offered grant which will be a second stretch goal.

I plan on being fully transparent about the budget and any stretch goals on the website!

Speaking of stretch goals, a small amount of funds will go to [charities] which will be determined later.
