My name is Hadeel Abuhajer, and I am writing from London, Ontario, Canada, on behalf of my cousin, Ahed Eid. Ahed’s story is one of dreams interrupted by the horrors of war. He recently graduated with a degree in Computer Systems Engineering, with a bright future ahead of him. But just days after his graduation, the war in Gaza began, turning his life upside down.
Ahed has been forced to flee four times, searching for safety as the war continues to claim lives and destroy homes. His friends have been martyred, and his home—once a symbol of security and hope—has been completely burned, leaving him homeless and psychologically scarred. The burning of the very trees and stones around him has become a deep emotional wound, a constant reminder of the destruction.

For Ahed, losing his home meant losing his sense of safety. The war has not only erased his past but has also stolen his present and left his future uncertain. Over 210 days of destruction, fear, and unimaginable loss have passed. He now has no choice but to leave Gaza to preserve his life and find a chance to rebuild what the war has taken from him.
Ahed is determined to pursue his dreams, complete his education, and create a new future far from the devastation. But he cannot do this alone. We need your help to give him the opportunity to escape, rebuild, and start fresh in a place of safety and hope.

Please open your hearts and share Ahed’s story. Your compassion and support can make a world of difference in his life. Let’s work together to help him find a new, safe future away from the horrors of war.
Thank you for your unwavering compassion, your prayers, and your commitment to building a more humane and caring world.
