Support AEPi Berkeley's Safety and Jewish Pride.
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Daniel and I am a recent graduate from UC Berkeley, and a refounding member of Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi) at Berkeley. During finals week, a masked man climbed the front of our house and attempted to tear down the Israeli flag hanging from my window. When brothers from the house respectfully approached him, he called us "genocidal maniacs," and "baby killers." We are a fraternity, not any of those.
As the man left our home, he threatened us, saying, "If you don't take this flag down, whatever happens is your fault."
In response, I hung a second Israeli flag to show that Jews will NEVER hide again.
Despite this, UC Berkeley administration failed to provide increased security in the following days. AEPi Berkeley must always be able to have a secure home and be proudly Jewish without fearing for their safety.
I am raising funds so the brothers of AEPi Chi Alpha can:
1. Hire private security whenever needed to ensure their safety.
2. Host events that celebrate Jewish pride and provide a supportive environment for Jewish students on campus.
AEPi has meant so much to me throughout my time at Berkeley, and I want to ensure it remains a safe and thriving place for future generations. Any support you can provide will make a significant difference in helping us achieve this goal.
Am Yisrael Chai.
