On December 3rd, 2025, my sister Adrienne Fant was struck by a car and completely run over by a hit and run driver. Her injuries were so traumatic that doctors had to remove the top of her skull to relieve the pressure from massive bleeding and swelling in her brain. She also suffered many broken bones from head to toe. For nearly a month, Adrienne lay in a hospital bed in a coma, fighting for her life. This morning, she underwent her third brain surgery since this tragic incident. Our family has been by her side every step of the way, praying for her recovery and doing everything we can to support her..

Adrienne is a truly caring person who has always helped everyone, no matter their race or gender—friends, family, or even strangers. She has given so much to others, and now she needs the support of her community more than ever. We are reaching out for help as Adrienne’s family's cost to care for her will continue to climb each day. Her health insurance won't cover all of her needs, and we are facing the ongoing challenge of getting her into the best rehab and therapeutic facilities. The funds raised will help us with the cost of being able to give Adrienne the most comfortable recovery our family could give. With this life changing tragedy our lives have been changed forever.
