My name is Adolfo Davis, and I’m the founder of Saving Our Urban Leaders — a grassroots movement rooted in Washington Park, serving Inglewood and surrounding communities.

We’ve taken a huge step forward — we’ve secured a space that will become a powerful center for transformation, healing, and hope. Now, we’re asking for your help to furnish and equip it, so we can open our doors wide to the youth, elders, and families who need it most.

✊ My Journey: From Harm to Healing

I was born and raised in this community. I’ve lived the struggle — and I’ve been on both sides of it. As a young man, I made mistakes that brought harm to my community. I take full responsibility for that. But I also found healing, accountability, and purpose. I turned my life around, and I committed myself to helping rebuild what I once helped break.

That commitment gave birth to Saving Our Urban Leaders (S.O.U.L.) — an organization rooted in love, service, and the belief that real change starts with real people who’ve lived it.

I’m grateful to say I haven’t walked this path by myself. Family, close friends, and powerful partners like Phalanx Family Services have helped me stay grounded, focused, and supported on this journey. Their belief in me and in the mission of S.O.U.L. is why we’ve come this far — and why we’re ready to take the next step.
