Hi everyone, my name is Adin Merriman. I am a husband, Marine Corps veteran, and a student at the University of San Diego. I’ve been looking for ways to continue serving and growing, and I recently got accepted into a volunteer program in Thailand through GIVE Volunteers. This trip focuses on sustainable development, community support, and marine conservation work, including scuba-based restoration.

This experience means a lot to me because it brings together some of the things I care about most: helping others, developing my understanding of the world, and supporting the health of our oceans and reefs. The total cost of the program and travel comes out to about $5,129, which covers tuition, flights, and the required gear and expenses for the trip.
