Help Adelia Relocate to Care for Her Mother

I am raising funds to help urgently relocate from California to Georgia so I can become the full-time, live-in caregiver for my mother, whose health is declining.

This decision is rooted in love and necessity. My mother’s condition has reached a point where consistent, trusted care is essential, and family support is the safest and most compassionate option. I am stepping forward to provide that care—putting my life on hold to ensure my mother is not facing this difficult chapter alone.

Relocating across the country on short notice comes with significant costs, especially when caring for pets and transitioning into unpaid caregiving while state caregiver benefits are processed. These programs can take time to activate, and during that gap, basic living and moving expenses still exist.

Funds raised will go directly toward:

Plane flights for myself and my pets

Updated pet vaccinations and travel requirements

Moving truck and storage costs

Transition support, including essential expenses while waiting for state-paid family caregiver benefits to begin

This is not a permanent move for opportunity or comfort—it is a move made out of responsibility, devotion, and love. Any contribution, no matter the size, helps ease the financial burden and allows me to focus on what matters most: caring for my mother during a vulnerable time.
