In Loving Memory of Benjamin Rizzo’s 38th Birthday
June 7, 1987 – March 11, 2016
A Memorial Fundraiser for Project Hope
Benjamin Rizzo was a gifted artist, a talented athlete, and a beloved son, brother, and friend. His creativity, adventurous spirit, and deep love for others made him unforgettable. But behind his bright smile, Benjamin silently struggled with addiction—a battle he tragically lost in 2016.
In honor of what would have been Benjamin’s 38th birthday, we are raising funds for Project Hope, a Christ-centered, 12-month inpatient recovery program serving individuals overcoming addiction and trauma. Project Hope offers long-term care at little to no cost, providing not only treatment but also dignity, structure, and faith-based support. Their men’s home is called Project Hope; their women’s home, Saving Grace, also serves women who have experienced abuse and domestic violence.
Addiction touches every family and every community. Benjamin’s story is a powerful reminder that behind every statistic is a person—loved, needed, and worth fighting for. By supporting Project Hope, we can help give others the chance at healing and a future free from addiction.
We carry Benjamin in our hearts every day. In his name, let’s come together to offer hope, compassion, and a path to recovery for those still fighting.
Please consider making a donation in Benjamin’s memory. Every donation, no matter the amount, can help save a life.
