Support Adam's Mobility Needs

Adam is 41 years old, and he is a quick-witted lover of music, creating art, the Detroit Red Wings, Lions, and Tigers, comedies, good conversation, and most of all, his family and friends.

When Adam was 19, he was diagnosed with primary progressive multiple sclerosis, which is a progressive, unpredictable disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain and between the brain and body.

As Adam's illness has advanced, he has lost all mobility in both his lower and upper extremities. Once active and independent, Adam now relies on others for all of his daily needs. Getting around has become one of the biggest challenges Adam faces. Simple things like attending medical appointments, visiting with loved ones, or just going outside for fresh air are no longer possible without a lot of planning and assistance.

We are coming together to raise funds for a wheelchair-accessible van to be used as a tool that would allow the family to help Adam move through the world again with dignity and ease. We are committed to helping him stay safe, supported, and as independent as possible.

Every contribution - big or small - will go directly toward improving Adam's daily life. With your help, we can give him access to the world beyond his walls and, most importantly, the connection to his family and community that means so much to him.
