Support Adam's Fight for Stability

I am Adam Wade Duncan and am known as THOR on the streets of Albuquerque and Sante Fe NEW MEXICO. I was forced into homelessness when I had major surgery to remove a deep infection in my right heel and was in medical institutions for nearly two months during which time my car was repossessed. While in the homeless shelters and on the streets of Albuquerque all my belongings, including laptops, phones, artwork, and backpacks were stolen four different times. I also was targeted and framed and had FIVE FELONY CHARGES filed against me. For two years I have been working at healing and recovery of my good name. I recently had all charges dropped which provides me with the ability to pass background checks and apply for employment. I am still fighting infection in my right foot and recently had to have the second toe of my right foot amputated. I need safe and secure housing to rest and heal. I need help in recovering tax refunds. I need start up cost to to have a print on demand e-commerce store to sell photos and artwork.

I currently have a New Mexico ID, full medical insurance, and food stamp assistance. I have been repeatedly honored and blessed with friends, colleagues, and former students that have went above and beyond to make my recovery and path easier by sending support and gifts when they can. It is because of two such former students who met in my first two years of teaching, toured Northern Europe with the University Choir I was directing, got married and are still together who has provided me easily the most significant support by putting me on their cell phone plan and sending me an IPhone.  Every day I use it I am grateful and reminded that I am loved and supported by these two generous and loving friends.

A portable computer capable for such things

Daily needs including laundry, cleaning, and personal items
