Adam Lunt is a father and husband, and the only income provider for his family. He worked at Amazon KSBD for 4 years, and has been a supporter of our Amazon Teamsters union. He worked countless 60 hour weeks, leaving his family to put in overtime and help out. Amazon fired him for missing work when he was caring for his sick son, and fired him over email. He had no option to explain his case or try to get his time excused.

Amazon routinely terminates workers who have worked there longer than 3 years and are at the pay rate cap. They have no fair system for terminations or appeals. They don’t treat people like humans and consider their circumstances. Instead, they let their robotic system decide terminations. Because we Amazon workers are not paid enough, when we are terminated, it leaves us in an unstable position with little to no savings.
