Support ACT-IAC's 45th Anniversary Charity Drive for BBFL!

ACT-IAC is celebrating 45 years of driving government innovation and collaboration on August 26, 2024. As part of this fun-filled day of networking and camaraderie, our golf marshals have chosen a couple local charities to support through the event's fundraising efforts.

Did you know that 1 in 4 children in Loudoun County do not know where their next meal will come from. This is reality for a shockingly large portion of students all around us.

Want to help? Every $500 raised can feed one school aged child for a year.

Backpack Buddies Foundation of Loudoun, Inc. (BBFL) is a private, grant writing, nonprofit organization who’s mission is to ensure no school-aged child goes hungry. Through the generous donations from individuals, businesses, and local groups, we provide funding and added expertise to over 20 grass roots supporting organizations that are dedicated to feeding over 3,000 students who might otherwise go hungry over school weekends and extended breaks. Through the Backpack Buddy grant funds, our partners are able to ensure their program participants confidentially receive bags of food to take home for the weekend (and long school holidays) that include meals, milk, and snacks.
