Help Us Bring the Love of Tennis to Abuja, Nigeria!
Hi Everyone,
We are excited to share that the Tswako Foundation is organizing an incredible 2-day tennis clinic and tournament for junior players in Abuja, Nigeria, this June 2025. This event will provide young athletes in the community with the opportunity to develop their skills, foster their passion for the game, and engage in a life-changing experience.
In preparation for this volunteer trip, we’ve been gathering gently used and new tennis equipment—such as rackets, shoes, bags, and more—to distribute to the local players who may not have access to the necessary resources. Our mission is to make tennis more accessible and inspire a new generation of players in Abuja.
To ensure the clinic and tournament are a success, we’re raising funds to cover critical costs, including:
- Shipping fees for sending donated tennis equipment
- Tennis essentials like balls, grips, strings, and more
- Refreshments for the kids during the clinic and tournament (drinks and snacks)
- Flight costs for our dedicated coaching staff who will lead the clinics
- Meals for our volunteer coaches, who are giving their time and expertise
