My family needs help. We are facing eviction if rent is not paid by Sunday. Our goal is $1,100 to cover rent and $300 to cover the fee. Total of $1,400. I was laid off unexpectedly and am starting a work-from-home job in less than a week. Unfortunately, the eviction will come first. Anyone who knows my story knows how much this home means to Abel and me. I found a solid job, and I'm set to start school and train at the gym. If I lose this apartment, I will lose everything I have worked so hard for to make a better life for us. I’ve applied for help but the funding is not available. So this is my second SOS. It seems these days everyone is going through it, but if you could help even a little, it would mean so much and make a big difference. Abel is doing better, and so am I, but we have a LONG way to go, an eviction now of all times would be VERY difficult on our mental health and resources. We need help.
