I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Abdul Ghanem, a father of four living in Gaza with his family, who are currently facing extremely difficult living conditions.
Abdul’s family consists of six members: Abdul, his wife, and their four children—Lama (15), Haya (14), Amir (11), and Lana (8). Before their circumstances changed, Abdul worked as an accountant, and his wife managed a small project focused on traditional Palestinian embroidery. Their children were attending school, and the family lived a stable and meaningful life.
Due to the destruction of their home and sources of income, the family was forced to leave their residence and relocate multiple times. They have experienced displacement, shortages of essential resources, and unstable shelter. At times, they have lived in tents exposed to cold weather, rain, and extreme heat. These conditions have made it very difficult to provide adequate clothing, warmth, and safety for the children.
The family is also facing serious health challenges. One of the children has suffered from a kidney infection and requires ongoing medical care. Abdul’s wife has chronic respiratory issues and depends on regular medication, which is costly and difficult to access. In addition, their eldest daughter requires eye surgery, which is financially out of reach under the current circumstances.
Everyday life has become a struggle. Access to clean water is limited, basic food supplies are inconsistent, and cooking is often done using unsafe methods due to lack of alternatives. Despite these hardships, Abdul continues to do everything he can to protect and care for his family.
This fundraiser has been created to help support the family with:
Safe and stable shelter
Basic necessities such as food, clothing, and clean water
Medical expenses and essential medications
Daily living costs during this difficult period
All funds raised will be used to support Abdul and his family directly and to help improve their living conditions as much as possible.
Any donation, no matter the size, or even sharing this campaign, can make a meaningful difference. Thank you for taking the time to read their story and for showing compassion toward this family.
