On the night of November 27, Abdullahi, a dedicated rideshare driver for Uber and Lyft, was involved in a tragic accident that has left him fighting for his life. Abdullahi, who is the sole breadwinner for his wife and young daughter, was on his way back to the airport after dropping off a passenger in downtown Minneapolis. Tragically, his car was involved in a severe collision with two other vehicles, and two individuals lost their lives in the crash. Abdullahi sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Hennepin County Medical Center for emergency treatment.

Abdullahi’s injuries have been severe, and he was placed in a coma for nearly a week. He is still in critical condition and remains hospitalized as he undergoes ongoing treatment and recovery.

Abdullahi is not just a hardworking father and husband; he is the sole provider for his family, including his large family back in Africa who depend on him for support. With his recovery still uncertain and his ability to work compromised, Abdullahi’s wife and daughter are now facing an uncertain future.
