Support Abdel Chabur's Fight Against Cancer

Hello, my name is Abdel Chabur.

I’ve been battling prostate cancer since 2017 and have undergone 10 surgeries in an effort to see another day. I lost my job during the pandemic which is also when my estranged wife left me and took everything I had. During the past few years, my prognosis has gotten worse and has made it difficult for me to find and keep a job.

Due to all of this, I haven’t been able to keep up with my rent payments. As you can see I’m in an extremely difficult situation and need to show the court that I am trying to do something within my limitations to keep from getting evicted.

My home is all I have left of my independence and the very thing I’ve worked all my life to keep. If you can spare anything to help with my situation, I would be forever grateful. Please pass along this message if you know anyone who might be able to help in any way possible.

The court should be reaching out to me before the end of February 2025 to provide me with my next court appointment. I hope to be able to show the judge some type of effort on my part while continuing the good fight against cancer.

Llevo luchando contra el cáncer de próstata desde 2017 y me he sometido a 10 cirugías en un esfuerzo por ver otro día. Perdí mi trabajo durante la pandemia, que también fue cuando mi ex esposa me dejó y se llevó todo lo que tenía. Durante los últimos años, mi pronóstico ha empeorado y me ha resultado difícil encontrar y mantener un trabajo.

Debido a todo esto, no he podido mantenerme al día con los pagos del alquiler. Como puede ver, estoy en una situación extremadamente difícil y necesito demostrarle al tribunal que estoy tratando de hacer algo dentro de mis limitaciones para evitar que me desalojen.

Mi casa es todo lo que me queda de independencia y lo que he trabajado toda mi vida para mantener. Si puede donar algo para ayudar con mi situación, le estaré eternamente agradecido. Por favor, transmita este mensaje si conoce a alguien que pueda ayudar de alguna manera posible.

El tribunal debería ponerse en contacto conmigo antes de finales de febrero de 2025 para proporcionarme mi próxima cita judicial. Espero poder demostrarle al juez algún tipo de esfuerzo de mi parte mientras continúo la buena lucha contra el cáncer.
