Support Abby and Dad in Their Time of Need

Howdy, my name is Abby, or my friends call me Silver or Adam. I've never been the best at writing, so I'll cut to the chase, as they say.

It's gonna be a long one, but back in 2024, at the end of August, our house was condemned due to being unsafe to live in, plus my dad being sick and unable to care for himself to the point I was doing everything for him, things you would think and not want to think about. But I was brought to live with my bio-mom while my dad had to stay in the hospital and rehab for roughly seven months. In between those, he had to live off of social security/disability and still does now with me back with him. And it's hard.

He has a pacemaker/defibrillator, retaining water in the legs, stomach, and chest, which is getting worse again. Diabetes, and fighting heart failure. He needs me to be an all-round caretaker to make sure he takes his meds and make sure he goes out for exercise. Albeit his walking is also getting worse with a higher fall risk. And since the month I've been back with him, we have been living in a hotel, though social security ran out and now as I type this, we're currently living in our Dodge pickup. Him in the front and me in the bed covered with the cap and with what items we were able to save.

So we are homeless, and I'm asking for help, we are asking for help, because I worry for his health as I've seen it get worse over time again. Plus, we don't even have enough funds for us to get food. I've stopped eating so I know he has food to take his much-needed medication. So anything helps, while we wait for social security to come in and while we wait for the homeless shelters to contact us so we can slowly work ourselves back up somehow.
