​Hi everyone,

​I am writing this with a heavy heart but a determined spirit. Recently, I made the hardest and most important decision of my life: I left a domestic violence situation to ensure a safe future for myself and my two young sons.

We are currently about to face homelessness by the end of the month, and as a mother, my only priority is getting my boys into a stable environment where they can feel secure again. Starting over from zero is overwhelming, especially since this happened during post partum when I should of been healing from child birth, but instead was faced with verbal abuse that ultimately became physical. I was also recovering from having pre-eclampsia towards the end of my pregnancy. My health has not been the greatest during this process.

I am currently on government assistance programs like snap and I'm in the process for tanf to help me with work, childcare and school which will take a while for it to go into affect so I am trying to do everything I can.

​I am setting up this GoFundMe to help us get back on our feet.

The funds raised will go directly toward:

​Housing: A security deposit and first month’s rent for a safe environment.

​Essentials: Beds, clothes, and basic furniture for the boys.

​Daily Needs: Gas for transportation.

​
