Our friends Abbey and Kevin have been working towards their dream of starting their own family. After years of hoping, dreaming, and therapy, they found out that they would not be able to conceive the “free” way. What started off as a “5k” quickly turned into an IVF ultra marathon. After one failed IVF round and one ending in an egg retrieval. They were very lucky to have made two healthy embryos, but sadly both resulted in miscarriages.

As some of you might know, IVF treatments are incredibly expensive and are not covered by most insurance companies. Unfortunately, IVF is not covered in either of Abbey or Kevin’s public servant career-offered insurances.

Not ready to give up hope and end their dream of one day having a family. I am reaching out to friends, family, and their broader community for support.
