My name is Lisa Marie, Auntie to Emilia Medina Branco and her family.

I am reaching out in regards to their 6 yr old daughter named Aaliyah.

Aaliyah is a bright, energetic, and fun-loving little girl with a competitive spirit and an endless zest for life. Unfortunately, she is now facing a very difficult battle after being unexpectedly diagnosed with Wilms Tumor, a rare form of kidney cancer.

This tumor has developed in both of Aaliyah’s kidneys and has also spread to her lungs, where lesions have been found. She has begun chemotherapy, but complications, including high fevers, have temporarily paused her treatments as doctors work to stabilize her condition.

I am reaching out to ask for your support for this brave little fighter and her family during this unimaginable journey. Any donation will help ease the financial burden they are facing, including travel expenses, medical costs, and other necessities as they care for Aaliyah while ensuring her sister maintains some sense of normalcy with school and sports at home.

The family lives over an hour away from Toronto SickKids Hospital, making it even harder to juggle being with Aaliyah and supporting her sister at home. Your kindness and generosity can make a significant difference during this challenging time.
