Support a Victim of Harassment

Hello, my name is Josh, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my friend's story. For over six years—now going on seven—our friend (who will remain anonymous for her safety) has endured relentless online harassment. She has been subjected to emotional abuse, intimidation, and threats that have taken a heavy toll on her mental and emotional health. This harassment has not been a one-time event, but an ongoing cycle that has stretched across the better part of a decade.

What makes this situation even more painful is that she is not alone. There are many other individuals—who also wish to remain anonymous—who have been targeted and harmed by the same person. These victims, like her, have experienced years of emotional distress, fear, and manipulation. Some of those targeted have even been people living with mental disabilities, making the abuse especially cruel and harmful. This pattern shows that the harassment is not just personal—it is widespread, deliberate, and deeply damaging.

Despite her efforts to move forward and leave her harasser alone, this individual has now filed a restraining order against her. The court hearing date is 10/ 23 /2025. This attempt to flip the narrative has only added to the emotional toll she faces. For her, and for the many others who have been mistreated by this same person, it feels like the abuse is never-ending. Yet after years of endurance, she has decided that now is the time to stand up and fight back.

To do this, she urgently needs legal support. The cost of hiring a lawyer is going to cost at least $4,800. Securing this will give her a chance to defend herself, present the truth, and finally push back against years of unfair treatment. Any contribution—whether large or small—will directly help her take this vital step.
